Job Opening:
Fleet Operations Specialist
Plan, organize, and manage the charter bus operations, including driver assignments, trip
scheduling, routing, and resource allocation. Analyze operational data to identify
inefficiencies, reduce downtime, and improve overall service quality. Monitor
performance metrics, and provide guidance and safety training to operators/drivers.
Review trip requirements and coordinate fleet availability, maintenance schedules, and
vehicle readiness. Communicate with customers and vendors to confirm service details,
pricing, and schedules, and resolve operational or service issues in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations, including
Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration
(FMCSA) safety requirements. Maintain accurate documentation of safety records, driver
qualification files, vehicle inspection logs, and incident reports. Prepare reports.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Operations Research, or Industrial
Engineering required. Two years of experience as Operation Manager or Sales Manager
involving operational planning or scheduling required.
